Ok I've seen several references to cake dough - what is it??

I've never heard of it.......I take that back, I saw a few minutes ago where someone said they used cake dough, covered in fondant, to create a couple of models.  I thought they must have meant something like a cake pop mixture???

Not sure but think you're right Sandra. Good name for it. I've never made "cake pops", never been ask to. I eat the scrapes. lol

it's probably for those old fashioned yeasted cake doughs, like coffee cakes,  Hungarian coffee cakes, German plum cakes,

MBalska I rather doubt it would b a yeast dough ...but then I don't know! :)   After I posted I figured it might be cake pops 'dough' but sure would like to know.
