Hi baking friends!

I got married last week, and although everything was fabulous, we ended up taking home almost an entire 10” tier of leftover wedding cake, which was partially cut due to a few pieces cut out of it. I wrapped it really tightly in plastic wrap and threw it in the freezer because we were leaving for our honeymoon. Will the cake be ok frozen even if it’s already cut? I’d like to thaw it and re-serve it to family in the next week or two since there’s no way my hubby and I will eat it all, and I’m not a fan of the whole “save for a whole year” thing. Any suggestions to keep it from drying out?

Hey CONGRATS!!  Hope youhave a wonderful married life.   That cake is going to be good as it was on your wedding day :)  You mention 'tightly wrapping' it - I hope you didn't squash it - but no matter it still will taste amazing as before.
