I used Swiss meringue buttercream with Russian piping tips for the first time. The only problem I had was that the flowers wouldn’t stick to the cupcakes even though I put a layer of buttercream on the cakes before for them to adhere to. Is this because my buttercream was too stiff? Should I add less butter so it’s softer and then they’ll stick?
