I am hoping someone can help me please! I want to make this cake for my daughter’s birthday (with my own spin on the decorating)  and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do the stairs. I look at the picture and sometimes I see that they carved it out and turned the “triangle” shaped pice over and crumb coated it, etc. Sometimes I see rice crispy treats for the side stairs. My husband see two same size cakes stacked and offset and carved and the carved pice turned into both the side and center stairs. Is there someone who could help me visualize and plan this out please? I’ve seen several other posts about stairs and they’ve helped a bit (much more than YouTube or any other site has helped!!!) here’s a link to the picture and thank you in advance!

I see MANY pix on that link page w/stairs so not sure which one exactly you are wanting to duplicate  If it were me I’d take the easy way out & Use wafer cookies   I can see it — chocolate covered wafer cookies—they would be so yummy:)   I’m sure someone will pop on here w/better suggestions but it’s a thought

This Pinterest page shows a few different ways to achieve the stairs.  Choose the one you like and go to the site for more details.

Sorry - I see the linking does not work right.  What I am referring to is a square cake about 2/3rds down the page.
