I don't want to use floral wire do what can I use to get the funnel like shape on the bottom of the lily flower? Thank you for your time and advice 

Use a funnel to hold the petals while they dry?   

yeah a funnel or make a parchment piping bag in the shape and size you need -- and cut it off evenly so it will stand point up and use that  -- I mean you could use any kind of paper --

or if you have a foam cutter you can make some forms easy peasy

you could also use a silk lily as a form
