The outline and flood was looking perfect  (except for the bubbles) when it was wet.  I didn't think the flood icing was too thin, but maybe it was?
Then I came home a few hours later to find them looking like this picture.
Then there are way more bubbles than usual.
Any ideas?  (I am hoping the airbrush color hides the unevenness.

I use a 3 tip to outline and a 5 to flood.

Right now this site is experiencing some problems so your pic won't show :(  I don't have all that much experience w/royal (I advoided it at all costs HA HA) but my thought is that it was too thin &/or the cookies hot?    Bubbles are from over stirring.  They can be broken using a toothpice or pin as soon as the icing is poured - you see them.

BTW  I see you are a new poster so you will not be allowed to reply to any post - not even your own. Just start a new post refering to this one.  All us 'ole-timers know about this and understand completely so don't hesitate to do that.

did you whip your royal icing enough — it  has a lot of body when it thickens up
