Connecting 2 Same Size Round Cakes

Hi all, i’m asked to make 2 same size ( 10 inch ) round cakes (chocolate and vanilla) for a birthday, for 50 people.  They are flower themed. They don’t want a rectangular cake or a double tier cake. I personally don’t like the idea, i need to connect those cakes somehow. I don’t like presenting only two fondant cakes with flowers that are just different in color. I hope you get what i mean. Plz help.

If you look through my album there are examples of how I combined 2 cakes on one board  that might help you   On page 2 the 4th pic;  pg 4 I think the pictures are #s 8 & 9 —each a combination of 2 hearts; on the next pg pic #16; pg 14 the pic is the 3rd from the end; & on pg 15 the 10th pic   Hope that inspires you to come up with something
