Does anyone have a recipe for a light-not-too-sweet all butter buttercream using whipping cream? Thank you.

You can try using the recipe “2 of everything “ found in the recipe section of this site using all butter

If you are making your frosting from whipped cream, it is not buttercream, but a cream frosting.  You can make it as sweet as you like or use no sugar at all.  The can be stabilized by using gelatin or just whip it until it is very firm.

Sweetpolita has a delicious recipe but it calls for butter and shortening but think it would be ok to just use butter.   I believe the recipe calls for 2/3 cup whipping cream.
