I recently started using an airbrush to save a ton of time with decorating cookies. I ice them with white royal icing. The next day I decorate them with an airbrush. The day after that I use edible marker for details and then bag them up to ship. I went to ship some cookies and noticed the airbrush color had changed slightly and become wet again. um, wth! How long do I need to wait for this stuff to dry? it was dry to the touch when I bagged them.
PLEASE HELP ME!!
The icing is absorbing the moisture in the cookies. Airbrushing really has nothing to do with it. You'll have to bake the cookies longer &/or leave them dry longer before icing them.
