What type of boxes do  you use to pack decorated ( royal icing, ect ) cookies that don't rest on top of ea other or require a huge flat box?  thanks

Pad between the  layers w/wax paper then several layers of paper towels.  I know of no othere way....but then there are lots of new things coming on the market every day.

If I am shipping, I use a regular mailing box, and bubble wrap. Even if I am not shipping, but transporting....I stand the cookies up in the box, and still put bubble wrap between. You could also use paper towels as stated above.

I bubble wrap around each cookie and then a layer of bubble wrap between the layers/rows. If being shipped, i also usually put 2 extra in to account for breakage.
