What are the pros and cons of crusting buttercream? What is a good recipe?

The best one I have used is “2 of everything “ You can find the recipe on this site—Sorry I can’t link it for you Crusting means it dries enough to be able to touch it w/o messing it up usually within about 10-20 minuets It still stays soft under the crust
