Hello everyone,

I’m in the process of starting a home cased bakery business in Pennsylvania and would like to seek for help.

I’ve confirmed from our township office zoning department that we are allow to run bakery from home. My next step is to submit the Limited food establishment application.

My questions are:

  1. In the application it ask for business name and business entity, should I create a LLC first or use my name to apply and change it later?
  2. If we take orders from social media (Facebook, instagram, WeChat) and online order form. And we only delivery to local customers. Does that count as interstate sale?
  3. Does bakery/pastry need lab testing?

Thanks in advanced.
