i am going to make a mocha buttercream frosting Recipe calls for strong brewed coffee, I don’t have a working coffee pot could I buy some already strong brewed expresso or coffee from like Dunkin or Starbucks and leave it in the fridge overnight and let it get to room temp in the am or even just buying some of the ones they sell on the shelves that are ready to drink,
would it effect my buttercream as I am not using fresh brewed coffee?
That's a good way to handle that situation :) I am NOT a coffee drinker so I can't advise about off the shelf reday to drink part.
That will work fine. I never bother to brew coffee, just use instant and I also use coffee extract as a booster.
