So I’m debating on how much to charge for this cake. She wants an 8” round, so I thought I’d come here and see what others thought. Thanks!Help!! How Much To Charge?

What do you charge per serving and, more importantly, what do you charge for your time?  The decorations are going to take way more time than the actual cake, so what do you charge for extras?

Pricing is SUCH a HOT topic!  There is sooooo very much that goes into coming up with a price including but certainly not competely : howmuch do you have into  the ingredients, equipment, packaging, your location and time.   The best we can suggest is coming up the a per serving price.  The industry standard here in the US is around $3.50 to $7 per serving.   That pictured cake uses fondant, hand painting, hand made flowers (lots of them!) and butterflies - none are all that easy for a biginner so I would say to consider charging nothing less than $150 to $300.
