Making Cake Topper Week In Advance?

Hey! So I'm still fairly new to pulling sugar, so while I find it super fun, I don't know that much. So please bear with me if this is a dumb question! But I want to make a cake for Christmas Eve, and I was planning to make a topper out of pulled sugar and maybe some snowflakes using poured sugar. Anyway, I'm wondering if I could get away with making my sugar decorations tomorrow if I keep them in an airtight container, or if they'll deteriorate too much by then. Any thoughts?
I would make them as last minute as possible I mean it might work but I would make them same day myself
