Has anyone put edible images on macarons? If so how do you do it? I was thinking a light smear of corn syrup but would that make them dissolve?

No idea!  I've only made macarons once.

Haha Sandra! I've only made them a couple of times, but I would love to put a little edible image on top however I'm scared of them just dissolving if I use the normal application techniques for cakes/cupcakes/biscuits. Would be really interested to know if this can be done :)

I did a quick Google search, and using water to adhere the image is what I found the first 3 articles said. It will not dissolve the macaron, but will not immediately adhere to it, so you have to keep coaxing the edges with a paintbrush, but they will dry. The ones that came up in the search were really cute. I never thought to do that.
