Just used an airbrush for the 1st time -- that was fun! In the instruction book (it's a CakeBoss airbrush), it said to take the needle out and run water though airbrush to clean it between uses. But it said to let it "dry thoroughly" before reassembling. How long does that take to dry on the inside? Honestly, I had to reassemble it before it dried completely inside because my 2 year old is about to wake up from nap and I have to get the kids from school. There's no way an airbrush sitting out disassembled will survive my house (3 boys, 6 and under). Should I turn the motor on and run air through it to dry it inside or just not worry about it? I hate taking the needle out - so afraid I'm going to break it.
Thanks
How long before you p;ut it back together? Are we talking minutes or hours or what? I probably wouldn't hurt to run some air through it.....maybe a hairblower on low heat & speed. Going in the future I'd let it dry a couple of hours or clean it at night so it can dry overnight.
