I've been asked to make a tinkerbell cake. I bought the Wonder Mold Doll Pan but my question is how many mixes will it take or how full do I fill it?

(I'm only asking because I've had 2 cakes overflow in my oven recently and had to use the self clean to get rid of the burnt smell. I dont want to have to do that again.)

Thanks in advance!

There are different sizes of that pan........different brands.   Fill the pan 1/2 full of water and measure how many cups that is.   I don't measure cake batter by cup but learned how many batters would fill each of my pans.   Filling the pan  1/2 full of batter should work well.  Usually that is one  cake mix/recipe - the same amount that would be for a 10x2 or 12x8 or many other size/shape pans.

It only took a couple of times running over pans in the oven before I learned to put a sheet pan underneath the cake pan(s) to catch possible overflow.
