I will be making a cake like this next week. My question is what is the best way to give the cake that ‘above the ground’ look? Is it on a special stand? I’m making the eyes out of foam decorated in fondant. What’s the best way to suspend them?

I would use a dowel covered in the same fondant as the cake.
