Help.... I’ve been asked to make 2 tier cake for a wedding she wants it to feed 60 people for dessert sized servings she mentioned a cutting cake that would be served after to make the cake feed 60 what do you recommend to feed 60 people in regards to cake tins

Here is the thing... You don't say where you are located, but here in the U.S. if the caterer is going to cut the cake, you are getting wedding slices... doesn't quite matter if you plan for dessert slices or not... So first, find out who is cutting the cake or you will have about half left over...

Since you haven't supplied anything other than the serving size and amount, I can't really help much else...

Are you supplying the additional cutting cake?  What kind of tins are you using - round, square, etc.?  How many tiers?  

And if you are talking fruit cake, that is a whole other ball of wax...
