Making cupcakes and toppers for a principal friend's staff meeting. The animal print is for their mascot. The star is for the "dream" and the writing is her theme this year.

1. Trying to figure out if I should use a black background or not..

2.Should I center the theme on the star or set it off to the side.

3. Last row...luster dust...yes or no.

yes off center -- luster not necessary -- yes black background

Yet again, I agree with Kate - offset with the black background, no luster.  They are adorable!

Lovely design! I agree with the others. Black background and off center. I must admit that I have kind of a love relationship with luster dust... I have to say go for it! (Even though I do not see that much difference in your pictures with or without it, my heart is talking right now!)
