One of my clients want this design for their wedding cake but I've never done this style before. Does anybody know how those lines are done? Is it done on a fondant covered cake or buttercream cake? Also are those line in buttercream or fondant? Thank you in advance!Need Help!

To me, this particular cake appears to be covered in fondant and the lines piped on.  You could, however, do the same thing on a buttercream cake and you could also make the lines by rolling fondant thinly and wrapping it around the cake.  If you choose to go that route, I recommend an extruder, just to save time.

It's very hard to tell if it is completely b'cream or fondant :(  But as Sandra said, It can easily be made with either type of icing :)  The 'lines' are just piped from a small round tip (probably 2, 3, or 4) - it just depends on what your piping pressure is like.  I'd use tip 3 and light pressure as I have heavy pressure (or at least did).
