So i'm no professional but i need help. I'm making a ballerina cake for 70 ppl I would like help in knowing what pans to use i only have a 10' 9' and a 8'.
I was thinking two 9's and two 8's? what do you think? help please!!!!!
You need to give us some idea what you have in mind or you just asking how big to make the cake to feed 70 people?
Yes, some idea of what the finished cake would be like would help.. Do you want a 'doll' cake or a cake with a ballerina theme - maybe a gumpaste dancing figure on it or just toe shoes? Just 2 layers of either the 8 or 9 will not be enough. I vote for a 2 layer 10 round (each layer 2" deep), then perhaps a single layer of 8" on top of that. UUUUGGG: I've forgotten the # of servings for the sizes - I had the whole chart of servings for rounds and sq from 6" to 16" memorized but haven't had to remember those much anymore and now not sure what they saver :(
