Any ideas on how to make a homemade corn starch puff like the ones used to dust mat when making gum paste flowers? It costs so much to order on line as the shipping is more than the item ordered. Anyone make one?? Thanks

Nicholas Lodge recommends a knee high doubled in his Craftsy class.  I have one I purchased, but I'll give that a shot when this one wears out.

I don't know where you're from but these can be purchased at Walmart, Hobby Lobby , Michael's etc. for like $3 for 4. even cheaper if you have a coupon.  Otherwise go to a fabric store and I'm sure they could adv what would work the best- gauze, cheese cloth. Nylons are a good option as suggested above.

Yes, a knee high nylon doubled.   works a treat.  I keep it in a little Tupperware container.

I go to the dollar store and get the plastic salt and pepper shakers.  I have used the knee highs just to messy for me.  Just another idea for ya

I use the knee high doubled and keep it in a Ziploc bag.
