Need Help Identifying The Technique Used

I’ve been asked to replicate the cake in the attached photo but I can’t tell if it’s a projected imagine or if not how they did this.   Any suggestions? Need Help Identifying The Technique Used

It does appear to be a projected image, but it could be beautifull replicated, less the illumination, by using gold dusts & vodka for the scrolls and silver dusts for the writing.

Pretty sure this is projected.  They do it here in Orlando all the time.  What Sandra said would be the best was to replicate.
