I will be making a wedding cake for some friends, and am trying to debate a 10/8/6" tier size vs a 12/9/6".  They will be supplementing with sheet cakes, so portion size isn't an issue.  If y'all have pictures, that would be amazing, as I am a very visual person.  Thanks!

The 12/9/6 combination was a very common size I had requested over the years. I definately like it over the 10/8/6.    Here are a few pix:  https://wwwhttps://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1358646/orange-daisy-tiers     cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1376803/seperated-tiers-in-pink       https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1319029/blue-hydrangea           https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1299407/pearls-and-lace          https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1294783/pink-and-black-rounds                             I didn't do many 10/8/6 - especially stacked - but here are a few pix of that size combination:         https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1294471/burgundy-hearts            https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1294507/old-world-look       https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1355333/garden-wedding-tiers
