Hi guys.

I am planning a cake for my son's 2nd birthday.

I bought an edible image on sugar sheet. I have never used those before. I researched about it and found that I can use fondant, buttercream or ganache under it.

I want to use white chocolate ganache, but it actually doesn't say anywhere can whipped ganache be used. And I don't want to use fondant at all on this cake - it's going to be eaten mostly by 2 year olds so I wanna avoid unnecessary sugar and work :). I know some people just cut fondant in size of the image and put it just under the picture to create a barrier but I don't want to do that.

If I don't have any other choice, I will use buttercream but whipped ganache just gies better with the flavors I planned.

Has always worked the same way for me.  I use have used the prints many times on the ganache with no problem.

Good luck!
