I need everyone’s creative brains! I was asked to do a graduation cake for both my niece and nephew on the same day. I’m hoping to incorporate them into one cake since it’s a joint graduation party. I’m at a loss on how to incorporate a geode cake and a white and gold pineapple theme all in the same cake. Maybe do one of those split cakes with one design on one side and something else on the other? Then the next question is how do you design a white and gold colored pineapple theme cake? Hahaha

I'm seeing an all-white cake with a gold "geode", and a gold pineapple topper with white leaves. Maybe gold and white graduation caps and scrolls for some decoration. I have an odd way of thinking so I'd probably sneak in a bright red or teal flower somewhere.

How about actually using single layers side by side - one decorated w/a small decorated geode and the other w/the pineapple. https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/2221228/1322949292jpg Another design idea might be along these lines: https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/2221228/1322949292jpg Another of my favorites is this: https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1349776/tri-level-graduation You can always display them on this order for something different: https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1349776/tri-level-graduation or this: https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1271471/haystacks

easy peasy -- i would do one half of the orb a pineapple -- and the other side a geode
