I just wondered if anyone has tried this and how it performed. Thought it might be nice to lighten up and cut the sweetness a bit.
So Sorry you didn't get a reply earlier. Have you tried this yourself by now? I don't remember now......I might have -- I'm thinking I did as I HATE waste. Yes, it would lighten it up some but to me PP is sweeter than b'cream so it would not cut the sweetness :) One would have to whip the PP before adding it to b'cream or the PP won't whip up - it could be used in place of liquid in the recipe you use but the one I used most often didn't need any liquid.
