Has anyone used WASC to do a surprise inside cake.  I'm planning on doing camouflage inside by tinting the batter various shades of gray and ice seen this done to make a zebra pattern but not camouflage.  I am just wondering if WASC is ok to use with this idea.

Yes, the recipe can be used to dye the batter different colors.   That is all you are doing - not baking some shapes then adding the baked shapes to unbaked batter to futher bake.  Just seperate the batter into how many different colors you want - remember it won't take that much batter, therefore not much color to obtain what you want.  Most likely you will have to make white cake batter - not some of the flavored ones in order for this to turn out well.   https://www.cakecentral.com/recipe/7445/the-original-wasc-cake-recipe

kakeladi's WASC is good for just about any application, even carved cakes.
