IM going to make a cake nspired by the one on the picture. Mine its going to have just two tier cake . How can I secure the feathers in front of the top tier 6” cake without having the leaves falling or the cake Ripped? I will also place a piece of jewel in front of the feathers Help Gatsby Cake! How To Secure Feathers

If you are using real feathers, you need to be sure they are not in direct contact with the cake.  If you are using wafer paper feathers, like the ones shown in the picture, they will be very light and would probably need no more support then the jewel holding them in place.  You can insert a straw into the cake at an angle and put the ends of the feathers into the straw, for extra support....that is assuming you are making the feathers and they are wired, because the wire would have to be bent.

Yeah, what Sandra said.   I see no problem w/the feathers falling off.   Just put a small dollop of b'cream or melted choco to hold them in place.

i'm not into feathers on food -- too unsanitary -- I mean of course it looks cool but it's food
