Hi all,

I’m new to here so please bear with me!

I am making a cake, enough to feed 55-60 people and they would like a unicorn cake. For this many, I have suggested a 12 inch cake. My question is do you think the unicorn cake will still look good this size? I’m conscious that i’ll need to get a bit of height on the cake so it doesn’t look to flat so that’s not a problem. I just want the cake to look to daunting!

would also be interested to hear from / see pictures if anyone has also made a 12 inch unicorn cake.

many thanks,

Bex

I think you would be happier doing a two tier cake.  I've seen lots of unicorn cakes that are two tier and they look great.

I agree that a two tiered cake would be your best bet.

Agree that a two tier would look better.
