She's asking YOU if it will taste good?  You can't answer that question for her.  I mean, I've seen chocolate covered pineapple but, to my personal palate, that's pretty gross.  The only chocolate/fruit combo I like is chocolate and raspberries.  Chocolate and pineapple is a bit on the unusual side so if it's for a larger group, I'd maybe lean her towards something else - especially since even she doesn't know what it will taste like!

So she is asking for a flavor combo that she doesn't even know if she will like?  I would probably suggest she try a piece of pineapple covered in dark chocolate before making any final decisions.  And like JustOneMoreCake said, if this is for a large crowd I would suggest a more "normal" flavor combo and if she really wants pineapple and chocolate then (depending on the cake design) the top tier or a dozen cupcakes to go along with the cake may be a good compromise.

The lady is asking me to do a classic pineapple cake with vanilla sponge and whipped cream with pineapple chunks and slices.but with this she wants grated dark chocolate in the fillings and on the top of the cake.. I don't know if this is a good idea or not..

I'm not quite sure what you're asking that we didn't already answer.  It's an unusual flavor combination though I imagine some people would love it.  Are you asking if it's technically possible?  Sure, why not?   Are you asking if we think it will taste good?  That's too subjective a question to answer.  Fruit is topped with or mixed with chocolate all the time but that doesn't mean everyone thinks it tastes good.

The only way to know if this is a good flavor combo is to actually make it and try it.  We can't tell you if it is going to taste good since taste is very subjective to each individual person.  But as far is if you can actually, physically make this, then yes you can.

I'm one who thinks almost anything can go with choco - especially dark choco!  Yes, certainly it can be done - is everyone going to love it?  Who knows?!?  As most have mentioned taste/what is liked is different for each person.
