I don't usually do square cakes. I don't do sheet cakes or half sheets, but the past two weeks I have had people ask for square cakes. I ended up doing them for the business but didn't like it!

Just curious if people charge differently for square cakes compared to round cakes? 6,8,10 sizes

I've been retired for like 10 yrs nowand am not knowledgeable about pricing differences. When I was in business I charged according to the # of servings - or W A Y back by the # of cake mixes/batter used per pan/shape.   I don't see where it is any harder/different doing a sheet or sq vs round.

Charge per serving and you get more servings out of a square cake versus a round.
