I am wanting to make a cake like this one c2cdf34a_gallery3491431309664095.jpeg 3,648×2,736 pixels

(not mine) but was thinking about changing the look by adding a sunrise.  Can anyone give me suggestions on how to do that without spray paint. I have never made anything with that affect before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Cindy E.

sure  -- color your icing -- put some in piping bags  -- ice the two halves of the cake top -- and sides if you want -- two different sunrise colors -- right away -- get your piping bags of the other colors you want to incorporate and just pipe them across there -- then flatten it all down using a bent metal spatula to scrape/smooth it all out from side to side --

less is more here -- don't over do it -- check out some sunrise pictures --

post a picture here when you're finished if you can/want to --

best to you
