Hi all,

I've been wanting to model cake figures/toppers for a while now and sell them online.

My question is, what would you use, gumpaste or fondant? Why?

Have you ever done this yourself, or know where I can look for help?

I've searched Amazon for sellers, but come up empty-handed.  Going to check out Etsy next.

PS if you chose gumpaste, would you advise buyers not to eat them?

I did a few using fondant strengthened w/Tylose.  The customer stated they arrived just fime except for one small bread (an arm).  I might not have wrapped it well enough.
