Hello all,

I am making decorated sugar cookies for an order and I wanted to know when should I make the dough to freeze. Also how long in advance should I bake the cookies and how should I store them? If I have to flood the cookies should I do them 2 or 1 day in advance. My goal is to have nicely decorated fresh cookies.

Thank you in advance smiley

Well wraped in plastic it should freeze up to 3 months at least - maybe longer.  They can be baked up to 3 days in advanced.  If you freeze the baked cookie maybe up to 3 months but I hae never fzn baked cookies.....just the dough.  Do not decorate more than 1 or 2 days before.  Of course you want them to be fresh :)
