Hi everyone,

is anyone here familiar with the $1 cupcake sale concept? I've heard about it from social media here and there but beyond people spending a certain amount to make a bigger profit, I'm not sure what it "really" entails. It sounds interesting though and was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about it

thanks

Never heard of it.  I wonder if it's what my father taught me when I was a child:   Offer the same thing for $1 or  75 cents.   More people will buy the cheaper one so in the end you make lots more money when you sell at a lower price.

That's what I was thinking kakeladi but doesn't that mean you'd need to make more to sell more? More effort? More time? Seems like you're still spending as much on ingredients and time so how do you "make more profit" per se?
