I live in Louisville, KY and was wondering what i should charge for 120 cupcakes. Nothing fancy, just the regular buttercream swirl. Chocolate, vanilla and red velvet are the cake flavors.
What's the going rate in the area that you live? I live in Ohio, and a simple swirl is a $3.00 cupcake. Here, red velvet is considered a "gourmet" flavor, so I would cost a bit more. You have to breakdown all of the costs involved to come up with a price, plus an hourly wage. There are many threads on pricing here.

Where are you in Ohio? I'm just curious because I'm in Cleveland and I've seen $1.50 or $2 as the norm in my part of the 'burbs. Is $3 a standard price or a wedding dessert table price?
@ypierce82 ahh! where the pumpkin festival is! I'm hoping to go this year!
