Hello!!

So I need to make this tiki mask for a cake that I'm making and was just wondering if anyone had any tips on what medium I should use. I usually use fondant and let it dry ahead of time but I don't know how I could get the shading just right. Maybe with petal dust? Also, I've made bamboo sticks before but I would like to make them as similar to the ones in the picture as far as color and shading. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks in advance!!!

Sounds to me like a job for an airbrush but if you don't have one, then the next best thing is petal dusts.

I made my tiki with Rice Krispy Treats covered in modeling chocolate and it is shaded with petal dusts. Same with the bamboo, shaded with petal dusts.Tiki MaskTiki Mask
