Hi there! I was wondering if someone could tell me how this technique is done?

I know how to make a watercolor cake but I have failed hard on how to make those wave thingies! How do you do it? Can someone please help me, it would be a huge help! Thanks in advance

Just swipe a spatula in a 1/2 circle.  You could use a large (soup) spoon or a small off-set spatula and sweep it through the color.  I would use jam or jelly as the color.......mix some w/b'cream.

It is similar to watercoloring. Just add the icing in a color block and then use a spatula or spoon as suggested above to create the wave and the drag.

@carlpatz28 ‍, I understand the concept detailed by kakeladi and Brooke14, but it appears to me that this would require considerable practice to perfect.  Patience and practice!

Looks like swirls of icing swooped. Could be achieved with a wide icing spatula. Practice on a over turned bowl.
