I’ve never used fruit juice in my buttercream, but have used a purée or fruit compote. Never had a problem. I have used purée or compote on it’s own inside my cake  on top of my buttercream as a filling. I have used very finely chopped fresh raspberries and strawberries in my buttercream with success.
