I made a recipe I found on cake central, but all the cupcakes came out concave or fell while they cooled. The recipe itself was good but the cupcakes were not the prettiest I made.I made this recipe. Just the cake recipe.

All my ingredients were new except the eggs which were about a week old. Any suggestion of why this happened or ways to fix it. I really want to use this for my sons birthday later this month.

I had similar issues when I tried to use a cake recipe for cupcakes. For me there was to much liquid. When I reduced the liquid my cupcakes came out perfect.

Were your ingredients at room temp?   I just read an old post where it was explained why that is important......it may have had some impact on your baking.    Last week I used my *original* WASC recipe for cupcakes and they turned out just fine.  http://www.cakecentral.com/recipe/7445/the-original-wasc-cake-recipe
