CAN YOU STENCIL A BUTTERCREAM CAKE OR DO YOU HAVE TO USE FONDANT ONLY??

You can stencil a butter cream cake, but those flowers are handpainted. Beautiful cake.

Yes that cake is beautiful. Hard to tell if some of these cakes are fondant or buttercream.

I agree that cake is hand painted on fondant.   To use a stencil on b'crxeam cut a piece of tulle (bridal veil material) to go under the stencil/between cake & stencil.  Also the stencil must fit/be held tight against the icing or airbrush color will seep under it and smear/look awful.

THANK YOU, INTERESTING METHOD.

I GUESS IT IS BEST TO FONDANT BUT I DO NOT LIKE THE TASTE.
