So I've been getting some good reviews on my cakes and I was thinking about entering a cake competition. I did win 2 awards at my son's Cub Scout "Blue & Gold" banquet :-) Any suggestions or experience with these.

I've entered dozens and judged a few.  Read the rules carefully and don't get your hopes up - being a novice is usually competitive.  Just do it with the thought that this is good experience/training.    And do your *VERY BEST* work.
