What is the rhinestone pattern on this cake called? It almost looks like an iron on jewel pattern.
idk -- i mean it's a scroll pattern -- it does indeed look like an iron on heheheheh -- but i don't even want to know! 
might be called a damask pattern although not applied as one would apply damask -- no exact right or wrong way though --
and it's drop dead gorgeous too
On the left side of the top tier it looks to me like a series of 3 or 4 ever enlarging hearts turned on their side, then a random pattern of scroll work. I really think it's just a random pattern thought up by the creator of this lovely design.
OK....just took another gander and it is only partial hearts - looks a lot like '3's
