Hi All

I'm making a hershey kiss cake with the silver wrapper. What would be the best fondant color to start with that would give me a good silver color? Also, when I've used silver luster dust in the past the silver is kind of washed out. Am I just adding too much vodka? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

A very light grey.  As for the color being washed out most likely you are.  It should be a little on the thick side......like mud.  You can always add more vodke as it evaps so very quickly.  If your painting is streaky just let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then try again:)
