Hi All,

I'm making a drip cake and the cake itself will be covered in fondant. What would be the best way to create the drip effect on a fondant cake?

Should I use  candy melts (to make ganache) or royal icing to create that drip effect? Which would work better on a fondant cake?

I should mention that it's going to be a loaded cake with a bunch of candy on top. Lollipops and such. Per advice, I will be adding those decorations at the venue.
