Hi there, I thought the message and pics uploaded. I would like to make a moving box cake but need some advice on how to get the flaps to stay up. posting a pic also

Purely a guess but try putting a block of fondant right up at the edge before applying the 'flap'.  I'm picturing a small maybe 1" to l &1/2" thick rectangle - length/size would depend on how big the flaps are.  You might even make it a wedge shape - somewhat thinner at the top.
