t went really well. So much fun. It was crazy though. They told us 500 brides. So I made 1000 cupcakes. They were gone in 3 hours!! They had 2000 people show up!! Crazy eh? The brides went ga-ga over the mini-cupcakes. Weird :wrong: I think I'm going to have brides ordering that out the butt!
I did make one mistake. I was taking bookings for consults. And I booked up a whole day (this Saturday) but its my DD's birthday. Oops. :OMG: Good thing she's three and won't know the difference. 
I gave out around 500 business cards. (I knew how many were in each box).
Anyways, here's some pictures. I think I'm going to be busy! There are only 2 lisenced decorator's in my town. I had a great time with the two girls from the other bakery. We were back and forth to each other's booths talkin' cake! 
Here's my booth set up, I had my cakes all along the back wall, it was great, because Brides came into the booth and walked along the table. It made it easy to stop them and talk to them. ( was sharing a double booth with two other girls).

Since, I've always worked in jobs that never allowed me to have those special family days, I became very creative at making every day "special"...
my kids and I would even have "SUNDAY TEAS"..lol

For all you CC'ers that don't know Lindsay and I are from the same town...we were the other booth in the show and I thought I'd post our pics as well...hope you don't mind We did have a great time and I discovered that there is wireless internet service in the arena... CC and a wedding show with GREAT company. What more could a girl possibly want?
Okay, now I'm really getting jealous! You guys are fabulous decorators! Seriously though, I hope you got TONS of orders! Congrats!!

We had a great time at the show, and we gave out tons of cards as well. It's going to be a very busy summer!! I'm looking forward to Friday, Lindsay and I are in the same gumpaste flower course together, I think it's going to be a hoot!!
I bet it WILL be a hoot! Sounds like you all get along fine-and-dandy! You will have to keep all of us posted on all that you have learned.
